Liverpool destroy Watford in what can only be described as a decimation at Anfield. Liverpool held true to their colours on their home ground at Anfield yesterday. To be fair to the visitors, they still managed to keep 42% of the ball and take 4 shots at goal and only one was on target.
Liverpool showed they meant business with a mammoth 13 shots at goal and 10 of them being on target. As the score shows, 5 of those shots got passed the keeper. It was practically a one man show despite the team effort made by the front three.
Mohamed Salah claimed 4 of the goals scored by Liverpool, with Firmino adding to the damage in the 49th minute. The match was already over by then as the score was 3-0 to Liverpool, but Salah decided to capitalise on 2 more opportunities, that left the Yellow Army sifting through the dust.
Unfortunately, Oxlade-Chamberlain was left on the bench for most of the game, but came on in the 70th minute and managed one good shot directly at the keeper.
